Volkswagen is offering significant discounts and offers on the entire lineup of vehicles excluding the current flagship SUV, the Tiguan. Introduced offers differ from Volkswagen’s three currently available models – the Polo, Vento and Taigun. The three models with offers available to them are as follows:
Volkswagen Polo
Volkswagen has already announced the closure of the Polo from the Indian car market, so far no immediate replacement has been planned. However, many dealers have stock of premium hatchbacks. To clear dealer inventory, Volkswagen is offering Rs 30,000 in base-spec trendline and mid-spec comfortline variants. Both variants are available with a free Volkswagen Connect dongle. However, these offers do not apply to Top-Spec Highline, GT and the recently launched Limited-Powered Legend Edition variants.

The Volkswagen Polo is available with two engine options – a 1.0-liter naturally-aspiring 76 PS petrol engine and a 1.0-liter turbocharged 110 PS petrol. Both of these engine options are available with a 6-speed manual gearbox, with the turbocharged variant having the additional option of a 6-speed torque converter.
Volkswagen Vento
Like the Polo, the Vento has been discontinued from India. But unlike the previous one, the Vento has a replacement model in the form of a Virtus sedan, which will arrive at the Volkswagen showroom in May 2022. Until then, some dealers are keeping a few Vento units with them. For the remaining Vento units, Volkswagen has introduced a benefit of Rs 40,000, including an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a loyalty bonus of Rs 15,000. These offers are the same for all variants of Vento.
The Volkswagen Vento is only available with a 1.0-liter turbocharged 115 PS petrol engine, which can come with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter.
Volkswagen Taigun
This is Taigun which is currently offering the whole Volkswagen family with the most lucrative benefits. In addition to the Rs 10,000 loyalty bonus, which is ideal for all variants, the 1.0 Highline, 1.0 Topline and 1.5 GT manual variants are offered with an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000. Also, the 1.0 Topline and 1.5 GT DSG variants are available with cash support of Rs 10,000, the 1.0 Highline Automatic variant has an additional cash discount of Rs 50,000.
The Volkswagen Taigun is currently on offer with two engine options – a 1.0-liter turbocharged 115 PS petrol and a 1.5-liter turbocharged 150 PS petrol. In addition to a 6-speed manual gearbox, which is ideal for both engine options, there are two optional automatic transmissions – a 6-speed torque converter for 1.0-liter petrol and a 7-speed DSG for 1.5-liter petrol.
