Tesla raises prices in its model range from $ 2,500 to $ 12,500

Tesla on Monday raised prices across the board of its electric-vehicle lineup, marking at least a sixth price increase for some models last year. The recent price increase reflects a 10% increase in some models, with the base model 3 rear-wheel-drive version increasing from $ 2,000 to $ 46,990 and the top model X from $ 12,500 to $ 138,990.

Last week, Tesla added $ 1,000 to the price of its best-selling Model 3 compact sedan and the Long Y version of the Model Y compact crossover.
