Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor has recently turned 41 and to celebrate his birthday, the actor bought a new Mercedes-Mebach S580 saloon. Last month, Shahid Kapoor was spotted after undergoing a Mercedes-Mebach S-Class test. Shahid has got the facelift version of the car, which the brand has recently launched in the Indian market.
It is learned that Shahid Kapoor has got Mercedes-Maybach S580 variant. It has been assembled in India and the ex-showroom is priced at Rs 2.5 crore. The on-road price is around Rs 3 crore, without any optional extras. Mercedes-Benz also sells a fully imported S680 variant priced at Rs 3.5 crore, ex-showroom.

Mercedes-Maybach says the S680 variant is sold out for 2023. The brand imports a limited number of units. Due to the overwhelming response from the market, the German manufacturer has decided to assemble the car at its Chakan plant near Pune.
More luxurious than the Mercedes-Benz S-Class
The Mercedes-Maybach S-Class is much more luxurious. Based on the standard S-Class, the Mebach S-Class gets a 180mm long wheelbase. The added space goes to the rear passengers. The car is about 5.5 meters long, making it one of the longest cars
Mercedes-Maybach gets the most advanced and unique features. It gets a “Doorman” feature that allows the rear passenger to gesture hand and close the door automatically. Even the driver of the car gets a button to operate the back door.
The back seat is where the Mercedes-Maybach offers the most features. The car gets rear seats which can be adjusted between 19 to 44 degree recline. There is a retractable leg rest as well.
The limousine is mounted on a 19-inch Maybach fake alloy wheel. It gets retro monoblock design. The tires are optimized for sound which ensures a quiet cabin. The Mercedes-Maybach also offers the option to increase the wheel size by 20 or even 21 inches. Features list includes a multi-contour seat massager, heated armrest, door panel, seat ventilation and a calf massager for rear seat passengers. There is also an executive seating option that combines wood trim, a full-length center console and a placeable tray. A champagne cooler and a custom solid metal flute are also included in the executive package.
The new Mercedes-Maybach S580 gets a 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine with a 48-volt EQ boost. It is a light-hybrid system. Together, it produces a whopping 496 Bhp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm. Includes a four-wheel-drive system and a 9-speed automatic transmission. Shahid Kapoor owns several high-end cars, including a Mercedes-Benz GL-Class.
