It is offered in LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi + four variants. For commercial purposes, a Tour M variant is available.

On the outside, the exterior has been updated with a new grille and new 5-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. The chrome garnish at Telgate has also been changed. Two new body colors have been introduced. They are Dignity Brown and Splendid Silver.

Some of the new features added to Ertiga are cruise control, driver-side auto-window up with anti-pinch, follow-me-home headlamps, automatic headlamps and auto-close function for ORVM. The speedometer has also been updated for the S-CNG model.

As standard, you’ll get ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Rear Parking Sensor, Dual Airbag, High Speed ​​Alert, Seat Belt Reminder and ISOFIX Child Seat Mount. In the higher variant, you will find four airbags, electronic stability program and heel hold assist.

The dashboard design will be the same as the current Ertiga. This means that the steering wheel, wood insertion, automatic climate control and AC vent remain the same. However, the manufacturer has updated Ertiga’s touchscreen infotainment system. It’s the new 7-inch SmartPlay Pro system that runs on the new user interface we’ve seen in Baleno. It comes with voice commands that can be triggered as “Hi Suzuki”.

The Ertiga will come with Suzuki Connect which will enable some connected vehicle features like Alexa Remote Capability, Trip Driving Behavior, Smartwatch Connection, Remote Operation, Car Stasis, Alerts and Vehicle Tracking.

Ertiga now brings a new 1.5-liter dualjet petrol engine with a smart hybrid system to boost the fuel economy. It will use two injectors per cylinder instead of a single injector per cylinder. This gives Maruti Suzuki more control over fuel. The engine produces 100 PS of maximum power and 136 Nm of peak torque. When running on CNG, the power output decreases to 87 PS and the torque decreases to 121 Nm. As standard, you’ll still get a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The automatic gearbox will now be a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Until now, 4-speed automatic transmission was offered when it began to show its age compared to competitors. This time Maruti Suzuki is also offering a paddle shifter mounted on the back of the steering wheel. The new gearbox will be better in terms of fuel economy and smoothness of gear shift and it will shift faster. In terms of fuel efficiency, Petrol MT claims 20.51 kmpl of fuel efficiency, while Petrol AT delivers 20.30 kmpl whereas CNG MT has fuel efficiency of 26.11 km / kg.

CNG powertrain will be offered on VXi, ZXi and Tour M. Previously, CNG powertrains were limited to VXi trims but demand for CNG vehicles increased as fuel prices increased.
