MINI has released new details and pictures of their special Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door Resolute Edition. Powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine, the unique MINI delivers 189 hp and a maximum of 206 ft-lbs of torque. All of this energy is sent to the front wheels via a standard 6-speed manual transmission, moving the car from a standstill in 6.5 seconds to 60 miles per hour. When paired with an optional 7-speed steptronic transmission with a double clutch, it moves one touch faster – 6.4 seconds. The maximum speed of the vehicle is 145 mph.
Special exterior color
The MINI Cooper Resolution version differs with its rebellious green color inspired by the British racing car. Body color is matched with a paper white finish for the ceiling and exterior mirror caps. The bonnet stripe with parallel lines in light and dark gold tones with exclusive 18-inch light alloy wheels outside the sporty look of the Pulse Spoke Black version.
Like most mini special models, the “Resolve” badge covers the entire car, starting with the bonnet and door seal. Some of MINI Cooper’s design features are finished in exclusive resolution bronze. The tailpipe trim piano of the drainage system is finished in black.
Unique interior
Once inside you will find an anthracite colored roof liner and sports seats in exclusive black pearl / light checkered fabric / leather. The range of standard equipment also includes the Nappa Sports Leather steering wheel. The Nappa Sports Leather has a version symbol on the underside of the steering wheel and on the floor mats. In addition, the surfaces forming a pinstripe pattern feature curved lines in a light golden tone.
The MINI Cooper S Hardtop 2 Door Resolute Edition, available from March 2022, is starting to reach US MINI dealers. MSRP was set at 35,900.
