Madhuri Dixit’s Husband Dr. Nene Delivers Tata Nexon EV Dark Version

Popular actress Madhuri Dixit’s husband Dr Sriram Nene has taken delivery of their first electric car. He has chosen the Dark Edition of Tata Nexon EV. The Nexon EV starts at Rs. 14.54 lakh ex-showroom where the Dark Edition of Nexon EV starts at Rs. 16.29 lakh ex-showroom. We believe that Dr. Nene has received the top-end version of the Dark Edition which is priced at Rs. 17.15 lakh ex-showroom.

Dr. Nene shared a video of Nexon EV taking delivery. In the video, we see a new car and a person from Tata Motors explaining the features of the Nexon EV. Dr. Nene further wrote on Instagram, “We have just taken the first delivery of many EVs in India. I am fascinated by cars, charging infrastructure and travel. The user experience is amazing and comes complete with the latest apps and tracking and comes with a home charger. And all for a reasonable price. More importantly, it has zero emissions, manufactured and designed in India, reducing our dependence on foreign oil and improving the overall equation. You guys have to try it. Earlier, he was also seen in an Audi E-Tron SUV. Dr. Nene is an auto enthusiast, he posted a picture of himself with a Tesla Model S. Moreover, he drove a Mercedes-AMG at 300 kmph on the NATRAX track. He was also spotted on the track while driving an older generation Porsche 911. Madhuri Dixit, on the other hand, owns a Mercedes-Mebach S560 which she bought in 2018 and she also owns a Toyota Innova Christa which has been replaced by DC2.

Nexon EV is currently the best selling electric car in the Indian market. The Nexon EV and Tigor EV combined sold 2,264 units in February ’22, which is significantly more than the 38 units of the ZS EV sold by MG.

The Nexon EV starts at Rs. 14.54 lakh ex-showroom and up to Rs 17.15 lakh ex-showroom. Depending on the state, you may also receive some FAME II subsidies. Tata offers the Nexon EV in three variants. There are XM, XZ + and XZ + Lux. The XZ +, and XZ + Lux variants are also offered as dark editions but they are a little more expensive and harder to maintain. That being said, the Dark Editions are standing out on the streets and have a lot of presence on the streets.

The Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh battery pack that powers the front electric motors. It produces a maximum power of 129 Ps and 245 Nm of peak torque. The Nexon EV has an ARAI claimed range of 312 km but in real life, you can expect about 200 km which is enough for your daily city needs.
