Kia Motors has recently updated its two SUVs which are being sold in the Indian market. Now, the manufacturer has launched a new TVC for 2022 Sonet and 2022 Seltos. The price of the new Celtos is starting from Rs. 10.19 lakh ex-showroom and new Sonet starting at Rs. 7.15 lakh ex-showroom.
The new TVC emphasizes new safety and added features that Kia has added to both SUVs. Kia has added two new exterior paint schemes to the Sonet and Seltos. The new colors are called Sparkling Silver and Imperial Blue.

2022 Celts
Kia has introduced a new gearbox option for diesel engines. This is the 6-speed iMT or intelligent manual transmission that we have seen in the Sonet, Hyundai Venue and i20. It is basically a clutchless manual gearbox. It will be offered with a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Those who want to enjoy the benefits of automatic transmission but cannot afford it will opt for this transmission. Also offered is a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The engine still produces 115 PS of maximum power and 250 Nm of peak torque. Diesel iMT will be offered in HTK + variant only.
Other variants include pedal shifter, drive mode and traction mode on all variants equipped with automatic transmission. A new HTX AT variant has also been launched. Kia has also added side airbags, brake assist, rear disc brakes, highline tire pressure monitoring system, electronic stability control and vehicle stability management in all variants. The HTX + variant now comes with a curtain airbag and the Celtos logo has also been updated. As a result of all these changes, the total number of variants has increased to 19. Prices start from money. 10.19 lakh ex-showroom and they cost Rs. 18.45 lakh ex-showroom.
There is no other change in the engine. In addition to the diesel engine, there is a 1.4-liter turbo petrol and 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol. Turbo petrol produces 140 PS and 242 Nm whereas naturally ambitious petrol produces 115 PS and 144 Nm.
2022 Sonnet
Kia has added security features to the sonnet to increase the amount of security. It now comes with highline tire pressure monitoring system and side airbags as standard. Variants with iMT gearbox get Hill Assist Control, Electronic Stability Control, Vehicle Stability Management and Brake Assist. From the HTX + variant you will be able to get curtain airbags.
From the HTX variant you will get a 4.2-inch color instrument cluster and from the HTE variant you will get a semi-leather upholstery. The sonnet logo has also been updated. Now, the Sonet will be sold in 21 variants and the price will start from Rs. 7.15 lakh ex-showroom and go up to Rs 13.09 lakh ex-showroom.
There is no change in the engine or gearbox. It is still offered with three engine options. Contains a 1.0-liter turbo petrol, 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and a 1.5-liter diesel engine. Turbo petrol produces 120 PS and 172 Nm, normally aspirated petrol produces 83 PS and 113 Nm, and diesel engines produce 100 PS / 240 Nm or 115 PS / 250 Nm if you get an automatic transmission.
