Isuzu MU-X SUV and V-Cross pickup truck to get big touchscreen

One year after its biggest update, Japanese automaker Isuzu Motors Ltd has finally released its models – the MU-X and V-Cross, a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This new 9-inch touchscreen unit is equipped with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity and will replace the old and old 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This upgrade will increase the comfort and convenience of drivers and passengers.

Last year, Isuzu launched V-Cross and MU-X in the Indian market with BS-6 compliance. It has introduced a more affordable trim which is priced at Rs. 16.98 lakh ex-showroom. The high-lander is well equipped and the list includes air conditioning with heater, tubeless tires with steel rim, four power windows, 60:40 split seats, a central locking system, rear parking sensor, high mounted stop lamp, fabric seat. The company also offers a Z variant that includes LED daytime running lamps with B-projector LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, roof rails, passive entry and start system, 6-way adjustable driver seat, automatic climate control, rear defggar, rear parking. Cameras with sensors and much more. For safety, the Z variant comes with dual airbags, engine immobilizer, brake override system and ABS with EBD. The Z variant starts at Rs. 19.98 lakh ex-showroom.

The V-Cross also comes in the Z Prestige variant with anti-pinch window, upgraded roof-mounted speakers, 6-way electrical adjustment for driver’s seat, cruise control, shift to fly four-wheel drive with high torque mode and front fog lighting. Z Prestige offers more safety equipment such as transfer case protectors, roof length airbags, side airbags, heel descent control, heel start assist, stability control and traction control. The V-Cross has a full-range 1.9-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 163 horsepower and 360 Nm of peak torque. Four-wheel-drive models also have an on-the-fly shift mechanism with high torque mode. The same engine was available earlier, although it produced less power and torque at 150 hp and 350 Nm. Previously, it came with a 2.5-liter diesel engine with 134 PS of power and 320 Nm of peak torque.

Isuzu has announced the same upgrade for the MU-X full-size SUV, including the 7-seater. The model contrasts with the MG Gloster, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavor. It costs Rs. The ex-showroom of the two-wheel-drive AT variant is priced at Rs 33.23 lakh and the four-wheel-drive AT variant is priced at Rs. 35.19 lakh ex-showroom. It comes with a 3.0-liter diesel engine that produces a maximum power of 177 hp and a maximum torque output of 380 Nm. It comes with a two-high, four-high, four-low range with shift-on-fly operation. The language of design is almost the same as V-Cross. It comes with traction control, cruise control, bi-LED headlamps and many more animal comforts.
