Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest two-wheeler maker, has recently launched the XTEC variant of its best-selling scooter, the Destini 125.

The new Destini 125 XTEC has been launched at a price of Rs 79,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be equipped with a brand new LED headlight and Bluetooth connection feature. Destini is the latest model of Hero’s XTEC and it joins the likes of Glamor XTEC and Pleasure Plus XTEC. The new XTEC Destini 125 is Rs 10,000 more expensive than the standard model

Hero provided the new Destini 125 XTEC with some design updates and added some extra features compared to its standard counterpart. In addition to some chrome accents to enhance the premium appeal of the model, the scooter has got a new LED headlamp unit as mentioned earlier. It has got a new paint scheme called Nexus Blue and the front USB charger, an analog / digital speedometer with Bluetooth connection and a Pillion backrest as standard.

The model extends the chrome treatment up to the XTEC badge, along with the rearview mirror and muffler guard. It comes with colorful interior panels, a two-tone seat finish and a few more touches. The Hero Destini 125 XTEC model holds a 124.6 cc single-cylinder BSVI compliant air-cooled fuel-injected engine that generates 9 horsepower and 10.4 Nm of peak torque, combined with a CVT. It is equipped with Hero’s unique i3S start / stop technology to save petrol.

Speaking at the launch of the brand’s new scooter, Malo Le Mason, Head of Strategy and Global Product Planning at Hero MotoCorp, said: We’ve successfully introduced the XTEC versions of the Glamor 125, the Pleasure + 110, and today, the Destini 125, which will further strengthen its popularity.
